Chelsea scored in the second minute, the losing script we named, and Arsenal chased it down with eight shots on target against six Martinez saves. At -1.5 this is our third handicap loss. At -1 it is a push. That half-goal was the entire lesson of the ledger, and it paid.

How we grade
The headline verdict of each preview is what gets graded - not the alternative angles, not the hedges. If a preview mentions a secondary bet that wins while the main verdict loses, the entry is still a loss. Prices are recorded as quoted at publication; markets move, and we do not retroactively improve our own odds.
What these numbers are worth
A handful of verdicts is a sample, not a system - short runs prove nothing in either direction, and anyone presenting a hot streak as evidence of skill is misleading you. Judge this page in hundreds, not dozens. It exists so that the judgment is possible at all.
